Prayer Resources...

The New Testament church "..devoted themselves to prayer.." (Acts 2:42). We believe that God desires His people to pray and that he hears and answers prayer (Matt. 7:7-11; James 5:13-18). Prayer demonstrates that it is "not by might or power, but by the Spirit of God" (Zechariah 4:6). Prayer releases the power of God, so it is fundamental to the life and growth of the church. Therefore, the meetings, ministries and activities of KCCB are characterised by a reliance on prayer in their conception, planning, and execution.

Most of the corporate praying that goes on in our church takes place in our midweek community groups, and at our Saturday morning prayer meetings.

Whenever we gather the church we expect to encounter the presence of God and to hear from Him. It is often through prophecy and visions that we receive encouragement, confirmation and direction. Our Prayer meetings are certainly not boring!

If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion then make my joy complete by being like minded, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

 Philippians 2:1-4
