Rotas ...
At KCCB we believe in ...
The priesthood of all believers, participatory membership and every member ministry.
What does this mean?
Well it is our desire to see every member being taught and cared for, loving and serving the Lord and each other and being a blessing to the community. To that end we encourage everyone to play their part in being church and building the Kingdom.
Lots of things happen behind the scenes as you can imagine, church life does not just happen, everything we do takes preparation, time, and effort, and so we encourage every one to become a participatory member of the church body and to participate as fully as they are able in the life of the church, so that the church community is able to be a blessing to others - that's why we have rotas, so that everyone can take part and do ther bit.
Serving together with others helps to build teamwork, friendships, character and aid discipleship, thus helping to ensure that every member is taught and cared for, and is loved and given opportunities to minister - i.e. to be a priest - serving the Lord, each other and being a blessing to the wider community.
If you world like to join us in participatory membership, and serve the Kingdom even further, please speak with one of the co-ordinators identified on the below rotas. Rota co-ordionators are responsible for making arrangements for the areas of responsibility to be covered, hence things happen and run well, and bless everyone else. Some rotas will be arranged for the year, some for shorter periods.
Please speak to the rota co-ordinator for the area of service if you wish to join a team or are experiencing difficulties in fulfilling duties
Thank you all for all that you do to serve the visitors, body, church and Kingdom.
Rota co-ordinators wishing to make available a rota for their teams, or wishing to add or amend their rotas should provide an electronic copy in either a PDF, Word or Excel file and send this to the website co-ordinator - John Hillman.
PLEASE NOTE
If you find that you are unable to fulfil a duty, please make every effort to arrange a swap with someone else on your rota or for someone to cover your duty.
