Want to know more? Try Alpha ...
From July to November 2002, ITV showed a ten-part series recording the experiences of ten people attending an Alpha course.
Presented by Sir David Frost, the series provided an excellent opportunity to "look in" on an Alpha course and see how it might benefit you. After the course, all those who participated were united in their appreciation of the way they had been able to learn more in a relaxed setting while making new friends.
King's Community Church Braintree is one of several churches that offers
the Alpha course in our area for those who would like the opportunity to
explore the Christian faith.
Alpha has been used by millions all over the world who have welcomed the
informal but well informed atmosphere to raise their questions.
Alpha deals tackles issues such as:
What is the point of life?
What happens when we die?
What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?
How do we deal with guilt?
If you would you like to take a closer look at Christianity without committing yourself to anything, then Alpha is for you.
Around 2000 churches in the UK are now running regular Alpha Courses.
What is it? A series of 10 weekly sessions aimed at helping you to find out for yourself what Christians believe and whether it makes sense.
