We want to see our young people fully integrated in the church, community and in society, while also growing together, reaching their friends and engaging in mission. Our goal is to see them have a robust faith in Christ through mentoring, discussion, prayer, worship, exercising spiritual gifts and serving others. It is our desire to see young people grow into young men and women with a passion for Jesus, his Church, and his world.
On Sunday's the youth have sessions that are structured and fun with the emphasis put on knowing God, learning his word and experiencing His Holy Spirit at work in their lives.
Mid week we also have a variety of community groups meeting for the youth, including regular youth evenings at venues like Costa Coffee.
At KCCB we regard youth and child protection and good working practice as a priority. In the interests of the safety and well being of all children and young people, we have developed and operate a formal child protection policy, which is registered with the Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service.
We are committed to ensuring that everyone working with children or young people:
• is adequately trained and supervised and CRB checked
• understands and follows the church’s Child Protection Policy
To obtain a copy of the church’s Child Protection Policy, please contact the church office.
